With the development of social and economic, people not only focus on anxiety, depression and other negative aspects of mental health. What is happiness and how to obtain happiness are becoming the heat topic that people pay close attention to. As an important indictor of life satisfaction and mental health, subjective well-being is a new research perspective in the field of psychology and positive psychology in recent years. Secondary vocational school students as a students group tend to be ignored, owing to special reasons, they were diverted to vocational schools, their mental health is a problem that can not be underestimated. To study their subjective well-being to make them better adapt to life and integrate into society has an important value. Quyi as China’s a kind of perform arts of folk color, in the whole of Chinese art history, occupies important position. In the 21 st century, our country vigorously strengthen the investment and development of vocational education, folk art how to face the audience atrophy, inheritance and innovation simultaneously is a valuable subject of study, caring and paying attention to folk art vocational school students’ subjective well-being and promoting learning is of great significance.317 vocational students in Suzhou quyi school were randomly selected as subjects, they are all at Suzhou Pingdan performing major. General Well-Being Schedule(GWB)was used to study art professional vocational school students’ subjective well-being. A total of 317 questionnaires were issued, 317 questionnaires were recovered, and 311 valid questionnaires were returned after excluding invalid questionnaires. Using SPSS data analysis, the demographic variables, such as gender, grade, students, single, and only child, monthly consumption were analyses to obtain the characteristic of art professional vocational school students’ subjective well-being. In addition, 40 subjects of low score students were selected, 20 of them as experimental group, 20 cases as control group. A period of eight weeks of intervention was conducted in experimental group to investigate the effects of group intervention to improve the art professional vocational school students’ subjective well-being.The results show that:(1) Art professional vocational school students’ subjective well-being is in the middle level. And it has remarkable difference in the variable of sex, the source, and in single parent, grade dimensions, there exists extremely remarkable difference. In the one-child, the average monthly consumption dimensions there exists no significant difference.(2) Group psychological intervention can effectively improve the subjective well-being of art professional vocational school students.
