Dance specialty in Higher Normal Colleges and universities is an important part of higher education in dance. Ballet courses in Higher Normal Colleges and universities in the opening of Dance Majors in the widest, the longest time. Dig the value of ballet class in Higher Normal College of dance, ballet’s own theory value and value of training and normal teacher education purpose combined of normal Dance Majors in the necessity of ballet basic training class, summarizes the characteristics of the normal teaching of professional dance. Finally, through the analysis of the present situation of teachers professional ballet dance teaching, and summarizing them, combined with the actual,put forward the corresponding countermeasures in the aspects of teaching content and teaching methods. The professional dance teachers must take the social demand as an important reference, to cultivate students’ teaching ability as the ultimate goal, to strengthen the students’ teaching practice. Based on this, the corresponding countermeasures can effectively improve the current situation, has certain practical significance.
