The arrival of mass tourism era has accelerated the development of tourism performing arts industry. In particular, the globalization and accelerating modernization process around the world, together with continuing improvement of the people’s material level, contributed to a growing demand for high-quality boutique public performances. Culture is the soul of tourism, and conversely tourism is the carrier of culture, and therefore the creative development of cultural plays an important role in the performing arts and relative tourism products. President Xi Jinping ’s important speech on literary and artistic work at this year’s cultural forum had pointed out, there is a lack of both quality and quantity, like "a plateau" missing "peaks", existing a stereotyped mimicry in literary and artistic creation as well as the mechanized production, fast-food consumption. Lijiang, has a relatively more intensive and developed performing arts industries, continuously promoting new tourism performing works, but above problems are not inevitable. How to break this impasse, to create a unique style of performing arts works for the public with different experiences; how to different regional cultures in order to allow the public to directly, deeply, and authentically experience the culture, creative ideas are indispensable essential. The rise and development of tourism performing arts in Lijiang has a certain representation of the industry, and meanwhile it reflects a series of questions. This thesis will take the Lijiang tourism performing arts as an example to explore how to better develop them utilizing multiple perspectives of cultural creativity. |
