Tourism performance is a song and dance performance project developed by tourism destinations to improve the conversion of tourists and improve comprehensive tourism income.Its performance venues are generally located in and near the tourist destination scenic areas,with a certain scale of performance and cultural characteristics.China’s tourism performance began at the end of the last century,represented by "Imitation of Tang Dynasty Music and Dance" and "China Hundred Arts Festival",and entered the embryonic stage of tourism performance;Entering the 21 st century,the success of landscape live tourism performance products represented by "Impression of Liu Sanjie" and "The Prosperous Dynasty · Kangxi Ceremony" has led to the tourism performance entering the 1.0 era;The success of "See Again Pingyao","See Again Dunhuang" and other "See Again" series performance products has brought tourism performance into the 2.0 era represented by immersive theater performance;The success of "Only Emei Mountain","Only Henan Drama City" and other "Only" series performance products has brought tourism performance into the3.0 era represented by "Drama City";Currently,tourism performance products are entering the 4.0 era,paying more attention to the creation of performance story scenes,visitor interaction,multi sensory experience,and role playing.The Opinions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the State Council on Promoting the High Quality Development of the Digital Culture Industry clearly states that "develop immersive tourism entertainment and immersive entertainment experience products to enhance the digital level of tourism entertainment and offline entertainment." After three years of epidemic,tourism entertainment faces new development opportunities,and related upstream and downstream enterprises are facing reshuffle and transformation.The three provinces of Shanxi,Shaanxi,and Henan are rich in cultural tourism resources and have excellent conditions for developing tourism entertainment.After more than 20 years of development,they have made certain achievements in the development of tourism entertainment products.At the same time,they are also faced with difficulties in investment and operation,geographical space concentration,content homogenization,single expression,and thin story lines.The overall operating situation is not optimistic due to the impact of the epidemic for three years.The development process and problems faced by tourism performance in Shanxi,Shaanxi,and Henan are like miniature models of China’s tourism performance.Therefore,studying the tourism performance in Shanxi,Shaanxi,and Henan has important practical significance,and has certain reference significance for the sustainable development of China’s tourism performance.In order to comprehensively understand the current situation of tourism performance development in Shanxi,Shaanxi,and Henan,this paper reviews and analyzes the development process and driving factors of tourism performance in Shanxi,Shaanxi,and Henan through literature collection,field research,and questionnaire survey;Based on previous studies,the concept of tourism performance is defined;Using the relevant theories of drama for reference,the overall framework of tourism performance research in Shanxi,Shaanxi,and Henan is constructed from three aspects: theater,audience,and drama;Using regional economic theory and top-level community theory,the spatial distribution and characteristics of tourism performance projects in Shanxi,Shaanxi,and Henan were analyzed;Using theater theory,this paper analyzes issues related to the backstage,theater facilities,construction planning,cultural characteristics,and functions of tourism performing arts theaters,and proposes factors that affect the design of tourism performing arts theaters;Using the relevant theories of semiotics on text,this paper analyzes the process of text reproduction and construction of tourism performance on local culture,and analyzes the coding and dissemination of tourism performance from the aspects of tourism performance media,tourism performance art forms,and so on;Using communication theory and related theories in management,combined with field research,analyze the factors that affect tourists’ decoding from the perspective of information filtering,selective cognition,emotional control,information overload,artistic language,and cultural identity,and analyze the factors that affect tourists’ experience perception from the perspective of their own characteristics and experience.Based on the previous analysis and the trend of tourism performance development in Shanxi,Shaanxi,and Henan,this paper analyzes the problems faced by tourism performance development in Shanxi,Shaanxi,and Henan from the perspectives of cultural tourism integration development,performance story telling,performance project creation,and tourism performance investment;Try to put forward development suggestions from the top design of tourism performance,multi-level cultural propaganda,tourism talent cultivation,tourism investment concepts,and other aspects.
