Research On The Reconstruction Of Costume Aesthetics Theory

The art of dress pattern reconfiguration is a unique artistic form, which is the same with the art to be in pursuit of the profound authenticity in some sense. This thesis clarifies the location about the art of pattern reconstruction, theoretical significance and practical significance through the concept of dress pattern reconfigurations design and research and the pattern’s re-created and artistic analysis. On this basis, this thesis has the aid of the theoretical guidance of Life Aesthetics and gives the theoretical basis to the artistic view of Life Aesthetics during thinking about the design of the pattern reconstruction, and make a further illustration about how the dress pattern derives from these main theories of the Life Ontology of Henri Bergson’s Life Aesthetic, the artistic view of Intuitionism and the value of Life Duration. And, this thesis focuses on the analysis of the generation and transformation of the art of dress pattern reconfiguration,intuitive methodology and duration change in the artistic view of Bergson’s Life Aesthetic.Although the theory of Life Aesthetics has a significant enlightenment to the design of dress pattern, it also has an unreasonable limitation to a certain degree, and this thesis analyses the unreasonable ingredients respectively from the theory of Life Intuitionism and the condition of life impulse duration. The last part of this thesis makes analysis of the typical pattern reconstruction’s significance from the historical and current aspects,and the author also regards the “Life Duration” as the creative inspiration to make this thematic research. Based on the theory of Life Aesthetics, this thesis aims at the current problems’ exposure of the social design of dress patterns, the form of simplification,mechanization and regularization and regards “returning to life” as the appeal to emphasize the recurrence of the art of dress pattern reconfiguration, to make people avoid the assimilation of industrialization and mechanization during the process of enjoying the improvement and development of the technology, to hope to give the design of pattern reconfiguration a new theoretical support of aesthetics In the perspective of Life Aesthetics and restore the authenticity of the art of dress pattern reconstruction.
