The Geographical Narrative Of Mo Yan 's Novels

In the history of Chinese contemporary literature, the novels of Mo Yan which have unique styles attract the attention of lots of scholars. He is concerned about folk stories and his novels are full of magical power and rich imagination. Therefore, his novels inject new vitality to the Chinese contemporary literature.As the son of Gao Mi, Mo Yan emphasizes the importance of his homeland which has a profound impact on his novels. My thesis will research the unique narrative style,contemporary anxiety, aesthetic and pursuit of Mo Yan’ novels according to the geographical landscape of his hometown and his experience, then I can research the correlation between Mo Yan’s novels and his hometown and how he show the distinctive narrative style.
