A Corpus - Based Idiom Study

An idiom is conventional with meaning rich, concentrated five thousand years of Chinese civilization, is a treasure of the Chinese nation, is the high degree of integration of language and culture, the wisdom of the Chinese nation. With the development of Chinese language in an international context, more and more people are concerned about Chinese concerns idiom. However, due to the complexity of their own idiom, Chinese idiom has been the focus of teaching and difficulties of student learning.In this paper, 116 idioms of "The new HSK test six words" as research subjects,combined with a large number of instances of Beijing Language University and "HSK dynamic composition Corpus", analysis the use of high frequency 26 idioms, summed up the idiom of analytical methods and foreign language teaching strategies.The full text is divided into five chapters:The first chapter discusses the topics of the background, purpose, significance, status,scope and methods.The second chapter,with Errors sentences of "HSK dynamic composition corpus" and lots of examples of Beijing Language and Culture University, analysis the use of high frequency 26 idioms, summed up the conditions of use of each idiom.In the third chapter, based on the investigation of 26 idioms, the analysis method of idioms is summarized from the rational, additional and grammatical meaning of idioms..In the fourth chapter, according to the error sentences of the dynamic composition corpus, the related suggestions of idiom teaching are briefly introduced..The last chapter summarizes the contents of the full text and puts forward the...
