As an important result of philosophical and cultural trending, Metaphysics not only established the ideological foundation to form the theory of "poetic flavor", but enriched the connotation of "poetic flavor" theory in imagery and charm.With the development of Metaphysics, the scholars’aesthetic ideas tended to be metaphysicized. Their inner feelings was affected by the atmosphere of idle talk, the emotion trend was presented according to the outpouring of their emotion, their aesthetic pursuit was reflected by emotional indulgence, and the developing of literary creation and critical theory to lyrical personality was caused by Metaphysicization of their aesthetic ideas. Under the complex culture background, the development of "poetic flavor" criticizing theory was affected by Metaphysics. On one hand, the imaging function of language and the mediating role of imagery to words and meanings were stressed from the Book of Changes to the Metaphysics imagery, which affected the "image flavor". The imagery category was enlarged and the imagery of everything was proposed by Liu Xie, leading to that imagery points to a richer field. The hidden showing is a way to present the "image flavor" and the appreciating standards of taste in poor love to describe something, proposed by Zhong Rong, is an approach to show that the poetry imagery is much valued. The Metaphysics charm provides one basic path to appreciate the remaining taste of Chinese poetry. Additionally, according to the complex emotional experience, the aftertaste of Chinese poetry presents endless implications, abundant emotional charm, and infinite beauty of artistic conception. Endless artistic conception is showed by melting limited emotion, and infinite emotional charm is presented by melting limited artistic conception. Integration of the "image flavor" and the aftertaste in aesthetic mood reflects that the "poetic flavor" theory is possessed with abundant connotation. |
