Since the 1958 when TV drama was born, it has experienced the shift from political propaganda to aesthetic art in the development of 50 years. In the TV play with realistic themes, the "political" is a theme which can not be avoided, its performance is two forms of Discourse: macro political and micro politics,but the latter is always unknown or ignored at most conditions.This paper mainly analyzes from the point view of micro politics combining with texts of TV operas with realistic themes to re-examine and understand expression of politics (concept) in TV operas with realistic themes and reveal various power-culture relations existing in daily life.It describes research background, value, current situation, contents, idea and method related to the subject in introduction part. Chapter Ⅰ describes the four stages of TV operas with realistic themes, the forming stage,the multiple-exploration stage, noumenon construction stage and rapid development stage.It describes the key types,basic characteristics and problems of TV operas with realistic themes since the 21st century. Chapter Ⅱ describes relationship between literature and politics. It has changed from literature belongs to politics, being independent from politics to multi-polity nowadays. Language modality of TV operas has shifted from macro politics to micro politics, and those TV operas with micro politics as language modality have risen abruptly under the post-modern context. Chapter Ⅲ describes power-culture relation since the 21st century, which exists in TV operas with realistic themes, from urban-rural stage,generation gap stage and gander stage. In TV narratives, urban is in the center of language modality, while rural area is at the edge, people in urban areas have a high sense of identity, while those in rural areas are lack of self-identity. On generation gap stage, people at different age groups may have many conflicts because of different ideas and needs, especially when they talk about the problems of marriage and taking care of children. For example, parents want control their children but children want independence. On gander stage, fatherhood utterance still set standard to women. Most people think men are stronger than women. However, this relationship between strong and weak hard to be seen. Chapter Ⅳ points out the problems which exist in position of urban centralism, stark image shaping, extreme relationship describing and resolve the conflicts ideally in TV operas with realistic themes by the view of micro-polity, and gives some advices in conclusion.
