Since the1980s, especially in the20th century, Chinese composer has alreadybecome an important force of music field in the world. Wenchen Qin, who is one ofthe most influential composers in the contemporary music field, combines Mongolianmusical elements with the modern western composition techniques, forming his ownunique style of music composition and acoustics experience. In the last decade, hismusic was given more and more attention by the domestic and foreign musicians andmedia.This paper takes The Shadow of the Sun IV as the object of study, throughcomprehensive technical analysis and structural logic analysis, thus explains thecomposition of works under the influential of Chinese aesthetic conception, exploitingits own distinctive technique of composition and musical concept. And make animpersonal evaluation on composers’ historical significance and status in thedevelopment of modern Chinese music.
