Family domestic is an important cultural phenomenon of Chinese traditional patriarchal society. It is designed by their ancestor, which is used for educating their offsprings.It reflects the designing schemes including their thoughts,behavior and values,what’s more, it reflects the minds and thoughts of intellectuals in ancient China Indirectly,it is a microcosm of Chinese society. The Song Dynasty is a climax in the history of the Chinese family domestic. A large number of writers, politicians created a lot of family domestics. It performs not only on the numbers but on the writing styles,so it needs to be research in width an depth.This paper is mainly from the point of view of literature development to explore family domestic of the Song Dynasty.This paper is made up of four parts.In the chapter one,it introduced the writers and books about family domestic during the Song Dynasty and make a classification of them.In this chapter,it introduces the development of family domestic by the analysis of many books of family domestics.At last,it get some conclusions:develop from inside to outside, they pay attention to courtesy, faith, filial piety, benevolence, righteousness, and the officer of discipline development to pay attention to demonstration, Family domestic develop from guide by theory to guide by the actual use.In the chapter two,it make an analysis through three representative books.At first,it analysis the Wen Gong Jia Fan,valuing the ritual, methods,treating the sages and men of virtue as the models.valuing the early education,perform the love in implicit way.At second,it treat the Yuan Shi Shi Fan as the second example,it perform three mainly thoughts:family harmony,personal cultivation,manage the family carefully.At last,it analysis the thoughts of Lu You,such as the teaching of reading and learning,be loyal to their country and so on.In the chapter three, it analysis by synthesis of family domestic is made to get the similarity,including Honest, reading and studying, the officer, thrift and so on. family domestic of song dynasty has many different styles,such as monograph, poems, letters, sayings, proverbs, motto, rule type,and they has something common: plain, concise, precise and colloquial.At the last chapter, the author analyzed the characteristics of the song dynasty family domestic, and get the conclusion that Song dynasty literary intelligentsia has wishes that their offsprings can live leisurely, virtuously.Though those analysis,we can get some clear cognitions about the social,historical, cultural reasons that they treat the education of offspirngs as the most important thing.
