Thesis of The ethical values and heritage, carrying forward to Chinese traditional festivals, is based on the research status of Chinese festival culture, the non-material cultural heritage, and the attention to the fate of traditional festival under the background of globalization. To explore the ethical connotation of the traditional Chinese festivals, and analyze its ethical value, has important theoretical significance and practical significance. The main task of this thesis is to explore the ethical connotation of the traditional Chinese festivals around the traditional festivals of ethical value from the perspective of ethics, and by analyzing current situation and problems to put forward realize path. It is divided into four parts:First of all, to summarize the ethical connotation of the traditional Chinese festivals abstractly, including the time meaning、the ethics implication of the festivals. The ethical implication of the festival is the key content, respectively from the point of "Love:the root of the festival",the evolution of’god-man-I’, the freedom to choose, holiday revelry, group consciousness to analyze. Second, before specific analysis, the paper would introduce some relevant symbol theory. The main content of this part is festival symbols, including fete ritual symbols, artifacts symbols, speech symbols which will provide direction for below.The third part is the specific inquiry about the ethical value significance of Chinese traditional festivals:one is the case analysis, selecting representative festivals, from the aspect of behavioral ceremony, artifacts symbols, festival legends, etc, to explore the ethical connotation and ethical value of each festival; next is a summary part of ethical significance; the following introduce cultural value theory of Talcott Parsons and Smile Durkheim, as guidance; last, a generalization of ethical value.The fourth part, from the theoretical analysis and case analysis to the practical analysis, that is heritage, carrying forward to the ethical values of traditional festivals. Including generative mechanism analysis, the present situation analysis, last putting forward three specific paths from legal regime, institutional framework, content, ceremony aspects to inherit the traditional festival of ethical value.
