With the blooming development of social economy and culture undertaking, along with the economy development, Chinese contemporary art and design is coming in. China modern copyright law system also started following the establishment and development of new China. Copyright and art design were more and more important in society. Unfortunately, there are torts in the development of graphic design because of the lack of intellectual property rights laws and regulations or light sense of laws, which is damaged the positivity of creator. At present, there is still weakness in protecting between copyright and graphic design. So the research in here is necessary. Research can help us understand the copyright laws, which protect and influence the development of art.First of all, the author first introduces the development of modern copyright law system protect graphic design after research history of modern copyright law system and graphic design.
