Research On The Application Of Chinese Buddhist Cultural Elements In Contemporary Graphic Design

In recent years,more and more Buddhist elements have been applied in Chinese contemporary graphic design,gradually forming our own Chinese style and national characteristics.If cultural globalization is a general trend,then the exploration of art localization has never stopped.Actively absorbing the aesthetics of Chinese Buddhist culture,it will be a strong impetus to the development of the localization of graphic design art in China.The focus of this research is the combination application of Buddhist elements and contemporary graphic design.This article begins with a review of the development of Chinese Buddhist culture.Then,Among the rich Buddhist resources left in the process of spreading Buddhist culture in China for thousands of years,according to the characteristics and functions of different resources,it is divided into Buddhist resources to Buddhist art and then to the spiritual connotation of Buddhism.They interact with each other.This paper elaborates and analyzes their dependencies and development status.This is more conducive to providing theoretical guidance on the summary of the characteristics of Buddhist elements.Secondly,through the analysis of classic cases of Buddhist culture in contemporary graphic design works.Analyze the visual performance techniques and creative performance of the work,explore the aesthetic connotation of Buddhist elements,Combine the examples of works,the key elements such as modeling,color,text,and Zen mood in graphic design are studied.And then explore and summarize the design principles and performance rules followed by Buddhist elements.The final design method should be applied in specific practice.On this basis,the poster works of "Shengshi Chonghui" of Nanjing Dabaoen Temple Relics Park were created.The design ideas and methods of individual works,the expressions and techniques of Buddhist elements were presented,through posters to show the social and historical value of the Dabaoen Temple Site Park,let the Millennium Ruins be "Glorious".
