An Analysis Of Nabokov 's Creation: Double Variation Of Russian Tradition And Postmodernism

Russian-born American writer Vladimir Nabokov’s literary origin has been the focus of academic debate and the majority view is inclined to think that he is a non-Russification writer. Born in Anglophile family, developed in EFR trilingual culture and half a century of exile, he did work-writing with a strong non-Russification colors, but his personality actually tightly tied with the Russian literature. This paper depicting Nabokov’ writing literary vision and wide writing context, based on the combination of his post-modern creative practice, explore the Russian literary tradition which he inherited and transcended.
