On Wei Wei 's Novels

Wei Wei was been chosen as the represent of "the generation after 70s" writers by fiction in the 1990’s. Since then, Wei Wei was widely known in literary world. But Wei Wei is not as famous as Wei Hui and Mian mian. She gave up the commercial packaging and followed the heart in her writing with her own unique feeling. As time gone by, some famous writers were soon to pass into history. Wei Wei’s writing has maintained strong vitality. She became a special writer in "the generation after 70s" writers with peculiar literary temperament.This paper was divided into five parts. The first part is introduction, which is divided into two sections. The first section analyzed the relations of Wei Wei and "the generation after 70s" writers. The second section mainly summarized the view of Wei Wei’s novel. The second part expounded the emotional factors in Wei Wei’s novel. The theme is Kinship and love. The first section of this chapter based on the relevant theory of instinct transfer mechanism and childhood emotional experiences to discuss affection of men and women. Then, it analyzed the complex relationship between men and women. At the same time, it also affirmed the universal human experience of ethical morality. The second section discussed the negation for romantic love in Wei Wei’s novel and expounded the hypocrisy and vulnerability of passionate love and romantic love. The third part explored the meaning of life with a strong modern consciousness in Wei Wei’s novel. This part explained the essence of life and the meaning of life from the loneliness of life experience, sentimental time consciousness and the absurdity of life essence. The fourth part discussed the feelings of compassion in Wei Wei’s novel, mainly including the attention of individual and vagrant spirit and the individual weak and humble under the ethical rules. In addition, this part also described the hardship in rock-bottom survival and the understanding of human nature in Wei Wei’s novel. The fifth part mainly expounded the evolution of Wei Wei’s creation. It discussed the process from the consciousness of "advant-garde" to the attention of social reality, in Wei Wei’s novel, but also it illustrated Wei Wei’s personal writing marks was faded.
