A Study On The Performance Of Foreign Drama In Shanghai In The New Period (1977-1989)

Chinese drama from the date of birth, is built on the basis of learning and using for reference foreign outstanding drama. Throughout one hundred years of history, from the revolution to the Anti-Japanese War period, the development of Chinese drama cannot separately on its own and complete the transition from classical form to modern form. Learning and using for reference of foreign drama to become Chinese drama reform conscientiously, throughout the various historical periods of its development. And ten years after the reform and opening up for China is an irreplaceable key point. As the opening of Chinese drama in Shanghai in this era of used orientation, in the face of a bluff Renaissance drama, wisely chose to draw nutrition from foreign drama performances. Based on the investigation, comb, induction, analysis of the literature on the basis of facts and activities, this paper studies the new period(1977-1989), Shanghai people’s art theatre, Shanghai youth experimental theater and theatrical performances of Shanghai theater academy to foreign situation, from the social cultural background and performance play, driving factors, influencing the thorough analysis, summed up the performance characteristics and historical experience, expounds the important influence of Chinese drama, and cultural exchanges between the east and the west.
