Miaozu is a strives for the survival of the nation, the history of the long-term drift and the change of the regional environment has created the unique national costume culture, as a minority’s rich cultural heritage, rich, the style of dress is heavy and complicated is rare other nations. It does not have its own characters, clothing has to be replaced by the design, it not only records the survival of the Miaozu nationality history, unique way of life, and a strong sense of life, but also the unique ecological culture of Miaozu. Through to the Shi Dong Miaozu clothing style, color, fabric, process of cognition, to illustrate unique nature worship in the Miaozu costume culture. When people don’t know more can’t change the nature, the Miaozu ancestors are to be endowed with divine or ghost, will exist in the nature of objects and natural phenomena as gods to worship is to have vitality, with the self cognition the abstract expression in the clothing, to pray for the blessing of the gods. In Shi Dong Miaozu dress design all kinds of natural objects, animals, plants, further understanding of natural phenomena, to express their underlying implication of natural worship. Ancient imposing and colorful Miaozu costumes and the design not only conforms to the rule of the development of the history and natural environment, in harmony with nature, but also embodies the Miaozu people worship nature, respect nature unconscious environmental protection concept. Combined with the modern people to the destruction of the ecological environment, to alert people to like the mindset of Miaozu nationality ancients treat nature, for future generations to provide a relatively stable and beautiful living environment.
