| Based on the manuscript of Xinhua News Agency and the related translation theory(The Theory of Description of Translation), the paper made a discussion of local folk custom news features and combined with relevant theory of translation skills in the process of translation, and it also made a comparison with the translation materials. In this process, the paper identified the differences between Chinese and English expression, considered the background cultural difference between China and foreign countries, and was seeking more scientific translation methods and strategies. The paper made a detailed research on the inaccurate meaning convey due to the cultural difference and ideological difference, and summarized a set of more scientific and practical theories and methods in order to guide the translation work in the future. |
