Research On The Evolution Of Hulan In Qing Dynasty

Hulan was located in the south central of heilongjiang province in the qing dynasty, adjacent to jilin province, was an important part of the northeast frontier. At the beginning of the qing dynasty hulan was only suolun tribal land of fishing and hunting, did not have special agencies. As the change of heilongjiang and frontier situation, in the twelfth year of the reign of emperor yongzheng(1734) the qing government established hulan town, and set up Town guard commandant, in the fifth year of the reign of emperor guangxu(1879) Deputy governor substituted it, in the thirty-first year the reign of emperor of guangxu(1905) hulan set up Hulan mansion, and in second years of the republic of China(1913) hulan began receives period. So hulan establishing evolution in the qing dynasty experienced three development period of Town guard commandant institution, Deputy governor institution and Hulan mansion.This article will analy reasons for such changes, various government agencies and jurisdiction scope of three periods, and through the analies of the role of instiution to make objective and accurate evaluation of history, thus further understand hulan development condition and ways of the qing government manage northeast frontier from various angles.Then this article can provide reference of dada for heilongjiang local history, northeast history and borderland history of qing dynasty.
