Behavioral inhibition means that the negative responses of individual when they in the face of unfamiliar people, things, or challenging situation in a period of time. It is considered to be the most stable temperament characteristics. Studies have shown that behavioral inhibitory children will be have more behavioral problems. Children’s behavioral problems is a common phenomenon in the process of children’s development, and it will produce adverse effect to the development of themselves and other people. Withdrawal behavior is a kind of isolation behavior evading groups in different environment, Anxiety is the tension, worry or other unpleasant complex emotion under the upcoming or threat scenarios. According to Sameroff Dynamic Interaction Model, Children’s development is the result of the interaction of individual and environment. Between children’s behavior problem and parent-child attachment exist intra prediction. Behavioral inhibition can predict children’s withdrawal and anxiety. The related research in the past are mainly concentrated in the middle childhood and adolescence. For the influence factors of longitudinal effect remains to be further in-depth study. This study investigated the longitudinal effect between parent-child attachment and Withdrawal, anxiety in the process of the development of 2-4 years old children. Parent-child attachment regulated effect in the forecast of behavioral inhibition to Withdrawal and anxiety. This follow-up research adopted the questionnaire method and laboratory observation method on 161 24 months infant in two years, at 24 and 48 months of these infants’ Children Behavior scale and Waters Attachment Q-sort items should be completed by their mothers. Through cross lag analysis and regression analysis got the following results: 1. 24 months infant behavioral inhibition is satisfy normal distribution, Non-inhibition child and Inhibition child are accounted for 20% of overall, the inhibitory of the rest of children are in the middle level 2. Infant’s withdrawal, anxiety behavior have moderate stability and it’s a downward trend during the period of 24 months to 48 months 3. T1 withdrawal can significantly negative predicted T2 parent-child attachment, T1 anxiety can edge significantly negative predicted T2 parent-child attachment 4. T1 infant behavioral inhibition can significantly positive predicted the same period of withdrawal and anxiety5. In the prediction of T1 behavioral inhibition to T2 withdrawal and T1 anxiety, parent-child attachment play a regulatory role.
