On Pan Liu - Da 's Literary Creation In The 1940s

Zhang Ailing, Suqing, Pan Liudai and Guanlu were known as the most talent women writers in1940s’ shanghai.After entering into 21 century, compare to Zhang Ailing and Suqing,Pan Liudai was seldom mentionged by people. Although professor Chen Zishan found out her representative working Mrs retired autobiography,there are few scholars doing specialized research on her works.So this paper focuses on her1940s’ literary creation and analyses her novels prose and essays comprehensivly to make up the blank in academic world.Except of the intruction ang conclusion,this thesis is invided in three chapters.In the first chapter,I try to discuss her novel Mrs retired autobiography,which includs the rich connotations and artistic features.By studying and analyzing the text,I summarise three connotations,which are money desire leads to abnormal psychology, the awakening of female independent consciousness and female tragic fate in the patriarchal society.The artistic features include the creative mode of autobiographical novel,the narrative strategy what is dominated by women and the unique psychological description.In the second chapter, according to the content of articles describe,her prose can be divided into four categories:The revelation of the society of Shanghai,the subtle analysis for relationship between men and women,the infinite sadness of love, the worries about the unknown fate. On the basis of analysis of content,I further summarize the artistic features: a variety of lyric styles and humorous language.In the last chapter, from the angle of 1940s’ creative environment,I make a conclusion of the contribution and deficiency of Pan Liudai,then expound the writing meaning,which can present a true and complete female writer image for those who don’t know much about Pan Liudai.
