A Study Of Yuan Po In Suzhou Poets In Ming Dynasty

Yuan Zhi(1502-1547),also called Yong Zhi with the pseudonym as Xu Tai, was a literati lived in Su zhou in the Period of Jia Jing in Ming Dynasty. Yuan zhi used to occupying a great position in the period of Jiajing, even in the whole Ming Dynasty,this was also agreed by Gu lin and Wang Shen zhong,who was the most important person of Style School and the leader of Tang and Song School in Ming Dynasty.This essay cast a key point in researching the literary activities,poems and literary thoughts of Yuan Zhi. Meanwhile,it is trying to display the full range of social and political,economic,cultural,geographical and lierature in Ming Jia jing Period by studying the Yuan Zhi.The essay has five chapter:the first chapter is mainly to explore the reasons for the rise of the Yuan’s family. It is found that the family which mixed with literati and businessmen plays a vital role in the formation of the writing ways of the Six Scholar in late Ming Dynasty in Jiangnan District.The aim of this chapter is to know Yuan Zhi’s family,social background and family spirit by the rise of Yuan’s family.The second chapter study the life of Yuan Zhi which focus on the contradition between Yuan Zhi and Zhang Cong. Zhang Cong is the prime minister in the early Ming Jia Jing period who represent the Political Group,againsting the Academy Group.Besides,this chapter also doing pointed that Yuan Zhi was yearn to be immortal by creating amounts of works when he live in seclusion in his most of time.The third chapter analysis the poems that created by Yuan Zhi and25 important person who has a great impact on Yuan Zhi’s life.These person was divided into five part,friends in Wu zhong District,friends in Jiangnan Disrict,friends in Jingshi,Friends in Zhongyuan and hiselders.The forth chapter is the Chronicle of Yuan Zhi which included the time of the all the poems that Yuan Zhi made in his whole life.The fifth chapter discuss the literary ideology and Poetics of Yuan Zhi.By developing and correcting the mistakes of Qian Qi Zi’s theory,Yuan Zhi carried on the traditional literal of Wu Zhong District,he also had some opposition to Eight-part essay literal.As a result,Yuan Zhi ’s thoery connecting the Qian Qi Zi and Hou Qi Zi,he also played the role of a bridge between North Literature and Lyric literature in Wu Zhong District.
