A Study On Liu Chang 's "Seven Sutra Films"

Liu Chang is a famous scholars of Northern Song dynasty, as well as an honest and upright official. He contacts with the famous Ou Yangxiu, Zeng Gong,Wang Anshi, Wang Hui brother, Jiang Linji, Mei Yaochen and so on. Liu Chang is good at the classics because of his family, whose roots runs deep in Chunqiuxue. Actually causing people to debate of his academic status, is Qijingxiaozhuan-- a thin book which is thought as the opening atmosphere work by the most scholars from Northern Song to today. However,the study of his Qijingxiaozhuan is very weak, there are still a lot of problems to be solved. This article tries to research Lunyuxiaozhuan of Qijingxiaozhuan as a case, to achieve the effect of one falling leaf indicativing the coming of autumn.Liu Chang completes his note-like work Qijingxiaozhuan in his eraly years, and it spreads quickly. Liu Chang becomes the first people to suspect classics in Song. But as a result of age, learning system, division, and scholars locating academic status varies, the influence of such factors to Liu Chang’s academic status generations many misunderstandings later on.This paper identifies the spreading time of Qijingxiaozhuan and Liu Chang’s academic status. On this basis, through many respecting practices, closely reasoning, proposes own inference to why there is only three entries of Chunqiu in Qijingxiaozhuan.Lunyuxiaozhuan is the longest of Qijingxiaozhuan. As a breakthrough point, this article analysis why Liu Chang attaches importance to Lunyuxiaozhuan, carefully studies its text contents by classification selecting.On this basis, inductively extracts the interpretation methods and thoughts and characteristics of Lunyuxiaozhuan, to lay a certain foundation to the research of whole Qijingxiaozhuan. Finally, to rough outline the influence and status of Qijingxiaozhuan from point to whole.
