So far, the teenage suicide has been a growing global social issue as well as public health problem. And it has become the most serious psychological crisis that does harm to the physical and psychological health of adolescents. Secondary vocational students, as a specific group in senior high school education, comparatively have more troubles and are the susceptible population to the psychological crisis. One of the severe outward expressions of psychological crisis is considered to be suicidal behavior. Therefore, it is worthy of attention to the situation of secondary vocational students’ suicide crisis. However, the existing measure tools are not adaptable to Chinese secondary vocational students; it is necessary to customize an evaluation tool which is applicable to investigate the condition of psychological crisis around Chinese secondary vocational students, in this way, those who have suicidal tendencies can receive technical evaluation and diagnosis as early as possible so as to provide guidance for instant clinical intervention.The study did an investigation into students from the secondary vocational schools in the districts of Shanghai Baoshan and Zhabei and designed a questionnaire on the secondary vocational students’ suicide crisis. The questionnaire consists of twenty-two questions, involving the four dimensions of depression and anxiety level, social support deficiency, suicide identity and negative life events. Through a series of verification with methods of item analysis, reliability and validity analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, the self-designed evaluation questionnaire on the secondary vocational students’ suicide crisis is ought to be of good reliability and validity.In addition, based on the investigation into the current state of suicide crisis of 530(valid figure) members of Shanghai secondary vocational students, the results can be demonstrated as the follows:1. The suicide crisis of Shanghai secondary vocational students shows significant discrepancy in the dimensions of genders, origin, one-child family or not, family formation and family economics.2. Deficiency of social support to the suicide crisis of Shanghai secondary vocational students reveals far differently in the dimensions of genders, origin, one-child family or not, family formation and family economics.3. Depression and anxiety level of Shanghai secondary vocational students’ suicide crisis shows significant discrepancy in the dimensions of one-child family or not, family formation and family economics, but not remarkable in genders or origin.4. Degree of suicide identity of Shanghai secondary vocational students’ suicide crisis shows significant discrepancy in the dimensions of genders and family formation, but not remarkable in origin, one-child family or not and family economics.5. Degree of negative life events of Shanghai secondary vocational students’ suicide crisis has remarkable discrepancy in genders and origin, but not significant in the dimensions of one-child family or not, family formation and family economics.
