In eighteenth Century, a character full of tragedy is written in the Oirat Mongolian historym the hero Shono. Folk songs, legends and hero epic about Sono are widely spread among the Oirat Mongolian tribes and Central Asian nations.This thesis consists of four parts:introduction, main body, conclusion and references. The introduction part briefly introduces the reason of selected topic, research purpose, research status, research methods and research significance. In the body part, based on Buryat Mongolian epic "shono", by using the comparative method and analytical inductive method, compare the Buryat Mongolian epic "Shono" and the Buryat mythology, folk songs about "shono", and the relation of Buryat epic tradition, discussed and studied the emerging of the epic "Shono".In the first chapter of the thesis,"comparision of the hero Shono in the epic and in the historical literature records ", the study state the historical image and image in oral lineage tradition first. And then do a comparative study between the motif of the epic Shono and the records about hero Shono in historical literature and discusses the historical process of how the real person evolve into epic hero. In the second chapter, "the epic hero Shono and Stories about hero Shono in comparison " study, through the comparison between the epic hero Shono and the story about hero Shono spreading among Buryat and Xinjiang Mongolian, the study denied the view of "the epic Shono is evolved from the legend in its initial formation stage" and raised a view of the epic Shono and the story about Shono are different form of oral lineage which depend on the story narrator. In the third chapter, "comparison of songs in the epic Sono and in the folk-songs about Shono" study, by comparing the songs in the epic Sono and folk-songs about Sono in Buryat Mongolian and Oirat Mongolian, the study denied the view of " Buryat Mongolian folk-songs about hero Shono is originated from the songs in the epic Shono". In the fourth chapter, "epic< Shono> in Buryat Mongolian epic inheritance and brief investigation of its origin ", the study compare the inheritance of epic Shono and Buryat epic and explore the origination cause of the epic hero Shono.The conclusion part summarizes the content of the article, and made a future study plan.
