The thesis is based on the philosophy of Chuang Tzu, especially his ideas aboutlanguage. The philosophy of Chuang Tzu can be called “heart tour”. The philosophyof language can be explained as what is expressed in Zhuangzi that language is notused to boast. That is, talking without prejudice is no words, even if you are alwaystalking for your life. Basing on it, Chuang Tzu develops his special narrative strategyby centering on the theme of Zhuangzi.Heart Tour is at the core of Zhuangzi. It contains the man of heart tour, the orderof seeking for the ways, namely, heart tour and objectification. Additionally, it alsoincludes the state of heart tour, which means the relationship among heart tour, theworldly life and the transcendence of earthliness. Lastly, it is the acme and the formof heart tour. The former refers to heart tour and integration. The latter means thatwho do you have heart tour with.Zhuangzi is established on the basis of the narrative theory about the sound ofman, the sound of land and nature. At the same time, it takes three ways of talking asthe narrative ways, which is seemingly humorous but actually serious. The three waysare what is said depends on other’s fame, the fable and the talking of the ways. Thenarrative of Zhuangzi bears close relation to the learning of different schools which ismainly about heart tour and the narration of different schools.Zhuangzi discusses the philosophy on the basis of Lao Tzu but is not totallyconfined to it. When dealing with the narrative, sometimes it narrates real people inthe world and sometimes it fabricates everything which does not exist in the world. The charm of Zhuangzi lies in that the doctrines of Chuang Tzu probe into everything.Geographically, the narration of Zhuangzi is not limited to a country. For the doctrinalinheritance, it also does not merely focus on one school. Instead, Chuang Tzu inheritsthem by transcending the time, the space and different schools. He completes thisincredible masterpiece with his ability of transcending the time and space.
