People has paid much attention to the local culture in recent twenty years, and ofcourse, more and more researches about it, especially the city’s local culture, havecome out. However, the researches about the countryside’s culture are less than that ofthe city’s, the one of the foreign countries’ are less than that in our Chinese Mainland,the one of the Minotity’s are less that of the Han nationality’s. Local culture developswith relying on its local environment.The article depends on the district of Bai Nationality, one of the nationalminorities, in Xinhua village, Heqing, Dali, Yunnan Province. According to studyingthe local culture and local self-identity, we can search and analyse the transformationof the local culture which depends on the special national minority and design it inorder to develop the local culture of Xinhua village.In order to analyse the problem of development of the local culture of BaiNationality in Xinhua village,, many field researches have been done, such asanalyzing the national scenery of the tourist attraction and the social and economicdevelopment in Xinhua village, the origin, development way, market distribution,inheritance way andindustrial chain composition of the ethnic arts and crafts. Theproblems which exist in the tourism development and local self-identity have beenanalyzed in different ways according to watching for the local people’s lives. And thisarticle mainly study the development strategies, the model design and management ofthe local culture in Xinhua village. Of course, all these researches have provided sometheories and patterns for a better development of the national minorities.There are four parts in this article. The first part includes,two chapters, and oneis mainly about research background, research meaning, research methods, study oflimited and the main innovative points and the thesis framework. The other is aboutthe research summary of Bai Nationality in Xinhua village and the local culture.The second part has three chapters. This part of the paper through discourseanalysis of natural resources by the conditions of Dali Bai Xinhua Villagedevelopment of local cultural industries metalworking processes, geographicconditions, historical conditions, human resource conditions, combined with theorigins of Xinhua Village, silverware and silver handicrafts handicraft process,process introduction of succession, industry chain and business model, the systemanalyzes the development and characteristics of Xinhua Village silverware crafts, understand and analyze participation in the development of tourism in Xinhua Villageof groups, as well as the impact on various groups of local participation, and thusthrough the influence and participation of local produce and other aspects of acomprehensive analysis of the problems in the tourism industry.The third part, thesixth chapter, puts forward some design and management methods from what we havediscussed in the last chapter.The third part, the sixth chapter, puts forward some design and managementmethods from what we have discussed in the last chapter.The seven chapter in the fourth part, which is conclusion section, has drawn aconclusion that the local culture development should be depended on the localcondition. At the same time, it also evaluates the meaning of the developmentbetween local culture and ethnic minority villages.In a word, this article has drawn a conclusion that local culture developmentmust rely on the local conditions through taking example by the knowledge andtheories of the ethnology, anthropology and sociology. And the writer hopes that itcan make a contribution to the local culture development in ethnic minority villagesas well as the protection, inheriting and development of the metalworking skills inXinhua village.
