A Study Of Xue Yingqi 's Life And His Thought

By researching and exploring the life, experience and education inheritance of Xue Yingqi, the origin and basis of his neo-Confucianism thought are revealed in this thesis. And it is found there is much difference between his thought in nearly life and old age. Analysis of Xue’s thought in early life mainly favored in mind theory of Lu&Wang, but was also compatible with neo-Confucianism thought of Cheng&Zhu, while his thought in old age was closely linked withi Zhu and Lu, but still preferred to the neo-Confucianism thought of Cheng&Zhu. Xue’s such academic thought had direct impact on the thought of Dong Lin School. And as an important part of his academic thought, his historical thought is also be analyzed by reading and studing his representative books, Song Chronicle and A Record of Charter.
