A Study On The Phonetics Of Jiaohe Dial In Jilin Province

Part of Jilin Jiaohe is situated at East Central Jilin Province, northeast of theChangbai Mountain, and Songhua Riverside which is in the transitional belts fromChangbai Mountain to Songnen Plain. Jiaohepian is bounded on the east by YanbianKorean Autonomous Prefecture, on the west by Changchun and Siping city，on the northby Harbin city of Heilongjiang Province, and on the south by Baishan, Tonghua andLiaoyuan city. There are six counties and cities in its domination, including Jiaohe,Shulan, Jilin, Yongji, Huadian and Dunhua. Jilin Jiaohe dialect belongs to the Jisui smallpart of Heijipian in the Northeast Mandarin Language. This paper takes Jiaohepian as thestudy object，takes Jilin as the dialect representative spot. Jilin Jiaohe dialect owns thephonetic characteristics of Northeast Mandarin Language, as well as its own uniquef“”eatures. This paper is on the basis of Dialect Survey List，and it "uses the ChineseLanguage Resources Sound Database Survey Handbook" to make a scientificinvestigation and description about Jilin Jiaohe dialect initial consonants, vowels, tonesand so on. It mainly pays attention to combination of static description and dynamicanalysis, synchronic study and diachronic comparison together. In terms of staticdescription, it primarily describes the tone system of Jilin Jiaohe dialect. In the dynamicanalysis part, it major employs method of synchronic comparison and diachroniccomparison to give a detailed analysis and statement about Jilin Jiaohe dialect consonants,vowels, tones and so forth. As for the synchronic level, it selects Jilin Jiaohepian andother surrounding dialect spots，namely, Jilin, Changchun, Tonghua, Baicheng, Baishanand Mandarin Language, to make a horizontal comparison; in the diachronic level, itcombines five major books of the Tang and Song Dynasties, namel"y "Guangyun,"C"entral Plains Phonology,"Fi"ve Party Vowels,"Yellow Clock Vowel Rh"yme,"Sound Rh"yme Feng Yuan to make a vertical comparative study in sound, thyme andtone, and a further analysis and illustration for Jilin Jiaohe dialect historical phonetics andits history evolution. Through the comprehensive and systemic study of Jiaohe dialect，itdisposes phonetic characteristics of Jiaohe dialect，and then we can make our least effortsin order to promote and enrich the research on Ontology Northeast dialect developmentand the research for the Northeast dialect history.The paper is altogether composed of five parts: The first part is the introduction. Itsummarizes the geography and history of Jilin, analyzes the present study situation ofJilin dialect speech in Jiaohepian, systematically introduces the background, purpose andsignificance, theoretical method, source of material, etc，and puts forward the problems.The second part is Jilin Jiaohepian dialect phonetic investigation. From the aspects ofsound, rhyme and tone, it studies and describes Jilin Jiaohe dialect speech, in order thatwe can accurately reveal the phonetic features of the dialect. The third part is diachronic comparative analysis of Jilin Jiaohe dialect. Through the comparison of Jiaohe dialectsound, rhyme, tone and the ancient rhyme book phonology, it tries to analyze historicevolution of Jiaohe dialect speech sound, and even attempts to explain some evolutionlaws. The fourth part, to make synchronic comparisons between Jiaohepian dialect andMandarin as well as other surrounding regions speech, in order to describe the phoneticfeatures of local dialect more carefully and accurately, and at the same time，to provideguidance in pronunciation for the dialect area people better learning mandarin. The fifthpart is to conclude and analyze the outside causes of which Jilin Jiaohe dialect isinfluenced such as migration and regional culture. Phonetic evolution connects closelywith the changes and development of social culture. Through the interpretation of theregional culture and language contact, we also struggle to discover the phonetic changereasons from the external language society.In conclusion, this paper adopts static description and dynamic analysis of JilinJiaohe dialect speech, combines both diachronic and synchronic perspectives, deeplyexplores, analyzes, and introduces Jilin Jiaohe dialect，and systematically reveals itsphonetic characteristics.
