The violin concerto<No.0>was composed by the famous composer Wang Qiang in1998, altered at2000and2002respectively and finally accomplished as the last version till now in2004in Hong Kong. Various of violin playing skills and novel composing ideals were employed to express the unique glorious three-movement-masterpiece. The impressive first performance was held in Shanghai in2002, played by famous violinist Zheng Weimin. Having been played in Hong Kong, Xiamen, Beijing, Taiwan and so on, this very art work has gained loads of praises throughout the world.This article divided into four main parts. The frist chapter was a brief introduction to the composer herself and related art works, containing her background and public affairs associated and some details of her reasons to start this work. In the next chapter the first movement was analyzed thoroughly to inspect the characteristics of her composition. The third chapter aimed to take the author’s personal experience as an aspect to analyze performing problems one may encounter when playing this work and corresponded solutions. The last part made conclusions of this article.This paper expressed information of both the composer and the concerto, studied the main structure and points of playing in detail, hoping to help better understanding and studying of this musical work.
