The Artistic Expression And Aesthetic Features Of Sheng 's Solo' S "Silent Night"

The sheng solo ’In The Quiet Night’composed by composer Mr.Xiao Jiang is based on the Tang Dynasty’s poetry Li Bai’s poem with the same title. Though being successful in art and having much value in aesthetics, it still lacks related studying thesis. This article aims to develop the understanding of this work and helping contribute to the performing art of sheng by analyzing how the professional sheng player Mr.Lei Jiangong plays it successfully, what sound effects he is looking for and what aesthetic value it presents.
