A Study On The Poem Of Tang Poetry

Tangshi Huapu which compiled by Huang Fengchi, drew by Cai Chonghuai and Ding Yunpeng is a Huapu anthology. It was compiled in Wanli dynasty and had three volumes totally. The original book contained five-character,six-character,and seven-character poems each about fifty. All poems were written by calligraphers, and figured a poem using a picture layout style(except for a few poems outside). The anthology is a valid data about combing the Ming dynasty engraving culturalcahnge and researching the development of Huapu works. Although there has achieved some success on researching Tangshi Huapu, but the points are widely distributed. Some issues which are closely interested with the book itself such as the features and the value of the anthology, still need thoroughly and deeply study.This thesis is a special research for Tangshi Huapu, it continues with deeper and wider research based on former achievements.There are four main aspects in the thesis. In the first chapter, the compiling issues of Tangshi Huapu, such as background and motivation are discussed. The second chapter is about the features of compilation, such as the style of compilation and the tend of selected poems are involved. The third chapter is mainly focus on the breakthrough in Tangshi Huapu about poem Huapu in Ming dynasty. The Tangshi Huapu’s value is summarized in the fourth chapter.
