From the angle of pragmatics, the thesis utilizes relevant principle of pragmatics describing and analyzing Chinese idiom. Firstly we make a definition for idiom, then dissertate and analyze three main way of idiom expression and three aspects of color meaning; secondly the thesis introduces expression method of idiom which is often used in social communication, and adopts plenty example to support analysis; thirdly starting from context, further elaborates how context restrains idiom choosing in communication and how context influences meaning of idiom and emotional attitude; fourthly based on above-mentioned analysis, dissertated expression action of idiom in social communication; lastly it is the conclusion of the thesis making summarization for thesis, putting forward a research result, meanwhile also pointing out shortcomings. |
