A Study On The Action In The View Of Psychology

The issues of action research has always been a topic in many disciplines. Different disciplines show different concerns for the issues of action research. Philosophers have focused on the essential characteristics of action, the interpretation of the action and the action of evaluation problem. Social scientists concerned with individual how to act in a social environment for their own development, how to carry out such problems as the most effective action, and special action theory in sociology of social movement is discussed.Like philosophy, sociology and other disciplines, psychology shows concern for the issues of action research from different perspective as well. Actually psychology concerns for the issues of action research from the scientific psychology established time. Wundt thought that psychology should be used to solve practical problems. Behaviorism showed concerns for the system of behavior, the cause of the behavior, the formation of the behavior, and the factors which affect the behavior. In the modern psychology, action problem has received extensive attention. Community psychology focuses on how to apply psychology to community life. Evidence-based practice psychology shows concern for the relationship between the understanding and practice value. In addition, the action of social constructivism also shows concerns for the issues of action.The development of psychology needs to study the problems of the action. Psychology within one hundred years development, has made certain achievements, but there are also many problems. In front of some issues about human and social problems, psychology does not seem to provide the expected explanation. There are several reasons for this situation, psychology lacks "the power of action" may be a reason. Psychology research should move to action of the science of psychology is a truly rich vitality. So to review and summarize the action theory in psychology is necessary, this will not only enrich the understanding of action theory, but also beneficial to enhance psychological action. This paper focus on the issues of action in psychology. The first part of this paper discusses the action theory of philosophy, sociology, education. The second part of this paper mainly discusses the action theory in psychology, from the behaviorism action theory, cognitive theory and social constructivism action view, practice evidence-based psychology thought, the community psychology and the qualitative research in action theory. We hope this work can enhance the power of psychology action.
