On The Fossilization Of The Unity Of Russian Questions And Answers

This paper is about the redundancy of turn-reaction in question-answer adjacencypair of Russian language. Dialogue, as the main form of spoken language, has thefollowing features: immediacy, unpreparedness and ease of communication. In theprocess of communication, statement of dialogic speech is limited not only byobjective factors such as context and apperception, but also by subjective factors onthe part of the speakers. Due to the agility and complexity of dialogue, manylinguistic phenomena manifested in dialogic speech fully and clearly show the rules ofchange and development in language.The theories of this work are based on conversational implication Grice, from theposition of structure, semantics and pragmatics. The author does a research in livelyand domestic Russian Spoken language, and on structural and semantic level conductsa detailed study of turn-reaction’s redundancy in question-answer adjacency pair ofRussian.This paper consists of introduction, three chapters and conclusion.The introduction part describes the background of research, the importance ofresearch, research methods and specified scientific novelty of this thesis.The main body is divided into three parts:In the first chapter, the author gives a brief overview of the definition of"adjacency pair" in Russian linguistic studies, and formulates linguists’ understandingabout this phenomenon, while analyzing structural factors in adjacency pair—makesscientific definition of turning-reaction and turning-incentive, and their means ofexpression.Second chapter discussed the theory of conversational implication Grice anddefined phenomenon of redundancy in dialogic speech, while making an analysis ofthe reasons for forming such a phenomenon and its pragmatic effect.In the third chapter, from the perspective of structure and semantics, the authorclassified redundancy of turn-reaction in question-answer adjacency pair and made adetailed analysis of each type of redundancy with the a lively examples.Conclusion described the main results of this study, summarized research center,and formulated theoretical significance and practical significance of this work.
