2010, Mario Vargas Llosa won the Nobel Prize in Literature,as a representative of structural realism writer, Llosa’s novel reflects the distinctive spirit of innovation and experimentation in structure, and the most notable features are space technology in narrative and time-space structures. At the same time, from the theme to the content, his novels reflect the new horizons of space research in the sapce powers, body spaces, geographical spaces and so on.Therefore, this article attempts to analysis Llosa and his novels from space angle, to reveal his space writing thoughts and the social significance and connotation of the times in his novels.This paper is divided into six parts:The part of introduction, gives a brief introduction to Llosa’s experience, works, awards, present research status, and explains the space issues in Llosa’s novels, which leads to the object of study.The first chapter, searching for Llosa’s space thoughts.This chapter starts from the background of "the boom in Spanish Literary" in Latin America, combined with Llosa’s spatial memories, as well as the changes in viewing angle with the movement of spaces.And analyze the reasons why Llosa’s novels is saptial and reflect space problems.The second chapter, multidimensional construction of spaces in Llosa’s novels. Different from the time, space is not one-dimensional, but widely exists in the multi-dimensional world.Therefore, this chapter classifies three kinds of spaces in Llosa’s novels, they are natural geographical, social city and human spirit.Then explan the different features of these spaces, which also lay the foundation to excavate the nature of the spaces.The third chapter, deep space connotations in Llosa’s novels. Sense of space is not on itself, but the profound meaning which embodied the spatial relationships. Body, home and heterotopias are those spaces which have special symbolic significances and cultural values. Llosa’s novel made a vivid depiction of these spaces, and by analyzing the interaction of different spatial relationships to expose the different qualities of space and hidden social problems in space, causing the reader to think about the space problems.The fourth chapter, artistic written features in Llosa’s space writings. Form and content are complementary, Llosa’ space writing should thanks to its superb writing skills. This chapter summaries Llosa’ writing features as "kit" art, dialogue interlace, hidden material and intertextuality association, and makes detailed examples analysis on the base of attentive reading.The conclusion, summarizes the key points of this article.
