Record of Buddish temples in Luo-yang has an important value of linguistics as a consistent anguage style work applying a lot of oral vocabulary which contains some characteristic features of the Northern Wei Dynasty. This article investigates and analyzes the usage of the classifiers in the book completely through the construction of corpus, endeavouring to find the characteristics of classifiers in it, hoping to provide reliable and solid fundamental empirical materials for Middle Chinese classifiers research. In this article,43classifiers in this book are classified and researched,we Summed up the the characteristics of classifier application by statistical analysis. And compare it with QI MIN YAO SHU(Important Arts for the Peoples Walfare)and SHI SHUO XIN YU(A New Account of the Tales of the World). Some classifiers are elected to make a contrast with Pre-Qin and Han Dynasties’s,Tang and the Five Dynasties’s. We draw the following conclusions:classifier abundance;noun classifiers are thriving, but there is no verb classifier, the application of classifiers goes to extremes completely;the word frequency of noun classifier is quite different;grammatical structure is given priority to with"Noun+Numeral+Classifier";classifier-reduplication forms appear, but is monotonous;grammatical function of numeral-classifier structure is relatively in detail;compared with the same period works, classifiers are richer and the frequency of use is higher;the classifier succeeds to and develops Pre-Qin and Han Dynasties’s,at the same time, Influences Tang and the Five Dynasties’s.
