Higher education qualityproblem is always along with the popularization of higher education. Along with thepopularization of higher education, many colleges expand significantly. The number of thestudents also gradually increases, but the quality of students gradually declines. Thereforeunder the background of popularization of higher education development, how to improvethe quality of higher education personnel training is an important problem to be solved.Academic competence is an positive quality, it is predictive for grades and can beimproved by appropriate education and training. As a special group, students cultivatingscheme for teacher education major has a lot of possibilities to be an educator, the growthof them has important influence on our country’s education career. It is more targeted andpractical significance to take them as the research object.The purpose of this paper is to reveal the present situation of the professionalstudents of teachers’ education academic competence and characteristics. At the same time,based on the view of positive psychology, we select three positive factors, resilience,commitment to major and academic delay of gratification. It researches t the relationshipamong them including how resilience, commitment to major, academic delay ofgratification effects academic competence and the influencing mechanism. The study takes630students cultivating scheme for teacher education major form five different types ofschools as object and based on The Silience Scale for Chinese Adolescents(RSCA) of HuYueqin and Gan Yiqun, the self-designed Undergraduates Commitment to major Inventorof Wu Lanhu, Academic Delay of Gratification Scale(ADOGS) and the self-designed College Students’ Academic Competence of Wang Lin survey.The data was studied on theUSe of statistical software SPSS19.0and AMOS17.0.Results of the research are mainly as follows:1ã€The score of students cultivating scheme for teacher education major’ academiccompetence in China is only in the middle to upper level..2ã€There are no significant differences of the total score of academic competence in thelocation of the school type, family, gender, professional type and the location of the family,but have significant differences on its dimensions.Obvious differences exist on the Totalscore of academic competence in grade.3ã€A significant correlation was found among resilience, commitment to major, academicdelay of gratification and academic competence.4ã€Resilience, commitment to major, academic delay of gratification can predict academiccompetence.Resilience can affect academic competence directly, it also can affect itthrough academic delay of gratification.Commitment to major can affect academiccompetence directly, it also can affect it through academic delay of gratification.Resilienceand commitment can both affect academic competence directly, and they can also affectacademic competence indirectly through academic delay of gratification. |
