A Study On The Process And Mechanism Of Theoretical Return To Practice

The topic of putting theory into practice is the contents contained in Marxistphilosophy as well as an major subject of contemporary social theory and its practice.However,so far, it is still lack of detailed and convinced analysis and explanation onthis issue.Based on the practical dimension, this paper attempts to study the process andmechanism of putting theory into practice in a comprehensive, systematical and deepway. Clarifying the concepts, the difference, the status and the role of theory andpractice, we should grasp the characteristics and essence of putting theory intopractice. Guidance, conversion, testability and progress are the basic characteristicembodied in the process. The unity of subject and object, purpose and regularity,value and instrument, truth and operation are the essence in the process. Meanwhile,these characteristics and essence are necessary results of putting theory into practice.Putting theory into practice successfully to guide practice effectively needs to gothrough a series of intermediate links and dialectical process. The process is verycomplex that can be divided into four stages, including assessment and selection,embodiment, implement and test effectiveness. This division provides the rightdirection and fundamental basis for the reasonable solution of the issue. We need tofurther study the mechanisms in the process of putting theory into practice,which lay asolid foundation for putting theory into practice effectively. The mechanisms includescreening system, value-oriented system, feedback correction system and practicalthinking system. Whether establishing and perfecting the mechanisms in its processdetermines the success and quality of putting theory into practice.Currently, during the critical period of comprehensively deepening the reform,we must adhere to the top-level design and cross the river by feeling the stone whichis the important facilitated way of comprehensively deepening reform. It is also therealistic path to solve the problem of putting theory into practice in contemporaryChina. Therefore, to study the process and mechanism of putting theory into practicehas been the urgent request of the present, which has the important and practicalsignificance to enrich and develop Marxism epistemology, and guide the practice ofsocialism with Chinese characteristics.
