Mental rotation is a ability of space characterization and conversion in mind,an important part of space ability.In recent years,Children’mental rotation gets more attention by people,Some studies have proved that mental rotation could be trained and improved, there are more adults as participants in intervention study and the ways of intervention are more single by analyzing the published mental rotation literatures.Basis on those studies,we use new intervention way to low age children in this study,lt’s not only enriched the theories of children psychology and pre-school education,but also provided scientific theory and practice guide for educator and parents to children with low mental rotation.Space visual work memory is a key factor of characterization and conversion the space informations,and the global processing strategy of characterization and conversion the space informations is an important factor of mental rotation,therefore, we have random selected sixty five-to-six-year old children who were with local processing strategy by Global-Local Processing Strategy,then divided the participants into homogeneous experimental group and control group,firstly,we test the2-D mental rotation and3-D mental rotation with the WT1and3-D mental rotation task respectively in preintervention,Secondly, we do intervention to experimental group and control group,finally,we do the postintervention and analysis the overall intervention results, the mainly conclusions are as follows.The first place,the intervention effect of2-D mental rotation is remarkable, the postintervention scores of experimental group are significantly higher than control group,the postintervention scores of experimental group are significantly higher than preintervention scores of experimental group,there are no significant difference between the preintervention scores and postintervention scores of control group.The second place,the intervention effect of2-D mental rotation is remarkable in different rotation angle,the postintervention scores of experimental group is significantly higher than control group when the figure turn45degreeã€90degree and180degree.there are no significant difference between the preintervention scores and postintervention scores of control group.The third place,the preintervention scores are the same as the postintervention scores,five-to-six-year old children’s intervention scores are reduce with increasing of the turn degree.The lastly,there are no significant intervention effect for3-D mental rotation,the postintervention scores there are no significant difference between the experimental group and control group.there are no significant difference between preintervention scores and postintervention scores of experimental group and control group. |
