Li Zhi’s aesthetics of music is an important part of Li Zhi thought, is the "heart " asthe theoretical origin, with the "natural beauty" for the purpose of the music aestheticsystem. It is based on the reflection and transcendence of Confucianism, absobspsychological ideology,history, Zen,Taoism and so on, including several ideas and theformation.Its connotation is rich and become an independent school.Li Zhi lives in the late Ming dynasty that chinese capitalism is budding period. Li Zhiwas born in special experiences and have complex beliefs, stubborn character,which makeshim become a rebellious confucian,so he strongly opposed to neo-confucianism in his life.his musical work are always to hold high the beauty of" humanity",ode to nature and truefeelings. His thought of esthe-tics of music forge ahead into the future and dare to expresshis dissatisfaction, so affirmed all the work of cynical, belonging to the excellent one. Herespected individual,natural and real desire cause profound influence on later drama, folksongs, guqin art, theory of literature and art,and their bold pursuit of" Zhiqing " beautyformed the the ideological trend liberation of personality thought in late Ming dynasty.
