Study On The Correlation Between CTA Manifestation And TCM Syndromes Of Coronary Artery Disease

Purpose: Observed the coronary tortuosity regularity of the 185 patients with coronary artery lesions from the 500 patients; Discussed the mechanism of the coronary tortuosity;Explored the relationship between coronary tortuosity and syndrome type of TCM.Method: Collected diagnostic results of the patients from the Liaoning university second affiliated hospital of TCM who underwent coronary CTA on 128-slice spiral CT. Methods a total of 185 cases from 500 results analysed retrospectively to observe the relationships and significants between male and female; among coronary tortuosity,coronary artery circuity with narrow and narrow without coronary tortuosity(The narrow in this passage means the coronary atherosclerotic plaques that contribute to the narrow.); among single branch lesion, double branch lesions and three branch lesions of coronary arteries; in different syndrome types of TCM and whether to have high blood pressure. Used the method of statistical analysis for validation.Results: There are 44 females and 27 males in the results of coronary tortuosity, so females are more than males on coronary artery circuty. The result of the narrow is quite the contrary. Both of them have statistical significance. The incidence rates of hypertension in groups of coronary tortuosity and non-tortuosity are 53.57% and 36.19%. So the phenomenon of Coronary tortuosity may relate to hypertension.The regularity of distribution happened to coronary arteries is single branch lesion>double branch lesions>three branch lesions. The regularity of distribution happened to single coronary artery is LAD>LCX>RCA.The quantity of the syndrome type of TCM : Qi and yin deficiency type > Phlegm turbidity resistance type > Qi and blood stasis type > Stagnation of cardiac blood type, and the types of the single branch lesion are consistent with this regularity.Both of them have statistical significance.Conclusion: The phenomenon of Coronary tortuosity is related to sexuality, and females are more than males on coronary artery circuty. The phenomenon of coronary tortuosity is the rule, the single branch lesion and the lesion of the LAD are the most. The coronary tortuosity is related to hypertension. It may become the mechanism to explain the coronary tortuosity. At last, the phenomenon of coronary tortuosity is also related to the syndrome type of TCM.
