| Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine decoction by observing the clinical efficacy of the drug on ischemic stroke recovery(Syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis).Materials and methods: The selected patients, were derived from in September 2014 and 2015 December period, see a doctor in encephalopathy which in the second affiliated hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.60 cases were all conform to the diagnosis standards of atherosclerotic thrombotic cerebral infarction and qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome of ischemic stroke recovery period.60 subjects were divided into treatment group 30 cases and control group 30 cases according to the principle of randomized.Control group were treated with aspirin, treatment group were treated with aspirin and traditional Chinese medicine decoction. Two groups were treated continuously for 28 days.To evaluation the patients of two groups with TCM syndrome and neural function defect scale before and after taking the medicine and to evaluation the patients of two groups with modified Rankin scale, daily life ability assessment scale(Barthel index) score before taking the medicine,after 28 days and 90 days after the end of the treatment.Results: 1.The two groups were significantly different in TCM syndrome score and neurological deficit scores before and after treatment.(P<0.05), but the treatment group was better than the control group. 2. The two groups were significantly different in modified Rankin and ability of daily life(Barthel Index) scores before treatment, after treatment and after the onset of 90 days(P < 0.05), but the treatment group was superior to the control group and the treatment group was superior than the control group in the number of relatively independent in life. 3.The two groups were no adverse reactions occurred during the drug treatment andno interruption of treatment because of the serious adverse events.Conclusion: traditional Chinese medicine decoction can obviously improve the clinical symptoms of patients with ischemic stroke, promote the neural functional recovery and improve patient quality of life, improve the long-term prognosis compared with only oral aspirin.It is safety and worth to use of clinical. |
