Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of the Ming Qu lowering lipids tea’s treatment of phlegm dampness type non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and discuss its mechanism of action.Material and method:According to the inclusion criteria, 159 cases of phlegm dampness type in patients with NAFLD were randomly divided into tea group of 79 cases and 80 cases into the control group with the random number table method. The two groups were given the oral treatment of Ming Qu lowering lipids tea and Qianggan capsule respectively. Closely monitor the safety indicators of the patients. Using SPSS22.0 statistical analysis software to determine the clinical data of the two group patients, including the improvement of clinical symptom,BMI,WC and serum biochemical indexe:(1)blood lipids:TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C;(2)liver function:ALT,AST,GGT and the liver ultrasound integral. And we urged two groups of patients in the 12 weeks treatment period to adjust the diet structure, reduce the intake of carbohydrates, especially contains high sugar soft drinks, eating more fruits and vegetables, at the same time, temperance;weight control and strengthen the aerobic exercise. Results: 1.Before the treatment, the two groups of patients have no significant difference in gender, age, duration of disease(P>0.05), they are comparable. 2.After treatment, the total efficiency of tea group was 87.2% and 86.1% in the control group, with no significant difference by analysis(P>0.05). The result show that the two groups of drugs in the treatment of phlegm dampness type NAFLD have equivalent effects. 3.The two groups of drugs have no significant difference by analysis in the improvement of Traditional Chinese Medicine syndroms and liver imaging efficacy(P>0.05). 4.After treatmen, tea group and the control group of patients in each observation index before and after treatment both have statistically significant difference(P<0.01). 5.The tea group in improving blood lipid, BMI and WC were better than the control group(P<0.01,P<0.05).6.The control group of patients in the aspect of reducing ALT is better than the tea group(P<0.01).Conclusion: 1.Ming Qu lowering lipids tea to improves phlegm dampness type NAFLD patients’ clinical symptom, liver function and the liver ultrasound integral have equivalent effects with Qianggan capsule. 2.Ming Qu lowering lipids tea can effectively improve phlegm dampness type NAFLD patients’ BMI and WC liver. 3.Ming Qu lowering lipids tea can effectively improve phlegm dampness type NAFLD patients’ the index of observation in blood lipid.
