Background:Diabetic peripheral neuropathy as one of the most common chronic complication of diabetes, having disease conceals, combined with the patient to describe fuzzy and lack of autonomic nerve, peripheral nerve and capillaries, but in order to see more, peripheral never symptoms for distal limb symmetry paresthsia, often accompanied by numbness, burning pain, ants and limb gloves or leg warmers are felling obstacle.DPN is diabetes foot ulcer gangrene necrosis after amputation, the most common causes of serious affect the prognosis of patients and quality of life. Western medicine on the pathogenesis of DPN,there is no unified conclusion,a lot of experimental evidence that oxidative stress is likely to be the fundamental cause of its development.Under any circumstances the body can cause elevated blood suger inside the cell of a large number of reactive oxygen species generation,oxidation-oxidation mechanism of balance is broken, and then activate the big four classic way namely polygon pathway activation, all can be intensified.By stimulating the body tp produce oxidation stress development of DPN.Think DPN etiology and pathogen of traditional Chinese medicine complex, the main can be summarized as collateral. Objective:By reviewing the Peking union medical college hospital regions for many years the medical records of hospitalized patients, explore the DPN and the correlation between the type of traditional Chinese medicine. Methods:By retrospectively collected since January 2009-February 2015 regions ward admitted in Peking union medical college hospital 367 cases of the root of dm patients. To strict screening of all of the patients, the standard to follow, western medicine of diabetic peripheral neuropathy and diagnostic criteria, and rule out other causes peripheral neuropathy, and diseases of lower limb vascular lesion. Clinical data of 367 cases of patients with complete, hospital medical records, auxiliary examination, discharge summary, TCM four diagnosis, tongue veins results such as detailed.Results:367 cases of root of DPN patients, had counted 168 cases of male,199 cases of women, the male to female ratio of 1:1.18. Patient age span 28-89 years. Diabetes onset age 26-82,.3days-45years duration of diabetes. Diabetes duration 5 years or less 95 cases, accounting for 25.89%, the course of 5-10 years 106 cases(28.88%), a course of 10 years or more 166 cases, accounting for 45.23%. Diabetic nephropathy merger 123 cases, accounting for33.51%.160 cases of diabetic retinopathy(43.59%), Sclerosis of arterial congee appearance around 219 cases, accounting for 59.67%, including 154 cases of lower extremity atherosclerosis,188 cases of bilateral carotid and vertebral atherosclerosis. Hypertension 289 cases, accounting for78.75%. Blood lipid metabolic abnormalities in 165 cases, accounted for44.95%. All documents syndrome cumulative frequency order from large to small is blood stasis, Yin deficiency syndrome, qi deficiency syndrome, phlegm dampness syndromes, and qi stagnation syndrome and Yang deficiency syndrome. According to the patients, the average onset age, divided the patients into group and 60 or more<60 years old group, the results showed that in different age group was statistically difference between documents syndrome frequency, specific.60 patients in blood stasis or higher percentage increased obviously, there are differences in the<60years old group (p<0.05), for patients with Yin deficiency syndrome and blood stasis syndrome, there is no age difference (p>0.05). Phlegm dampness syndromes, deficiency syndrome and Yang deficiency syndrome, the proportion of patients among all age groups are gradually reduced, the three kinds of syndrome types and<60 way appeared in group 60 or higher proportion has no statistical significance (p< 0.01).Conclusion:DPN and correlation of traditional Chinese medicine...
