Clinical Study On Treatment Of Autoimmune Liver Disease With Yiqi Jiedu Tongluo Method

Objective:(1)This study was to observe the clinical curative effects of Yiqi Jiedu Tongluo in patients with autoimmune liver disease, Then the writer evaluated four aspects of the treatments including symptoms and signs, physicochemical and imaging examination, and the adverse events.(2)The study provided evidence-based basis to establish the standardized clinical programs about the treatment of autoimmune liver disease in Chinese medicine.Methods:50patients with autoimmune liver disease, who came from Dongzhimen hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in the period of 2013.9 to 2015.10, were selected and divided into three group by their diseases,the AIH group(Agroup n=10),the PBC group (B group n=25) and the Overlap syndrome group(Cgroup n=15)(Because the sample size of PSC collected in outpatients is too small, it is not the establishment of PSC group).All the three group were treated with Yiqi Jiedu Tongluo, Assessments were carried at the time of before-treated and six-month-treated, which included clinical signs and symptoms,TCM syndrome score, liver function, liver ultrasound and adverse reactions. This study uses SPSS 17.0 statistical software for statistical analysis. P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:(1)Clinical symptoms resultsAccording to the recovered degree, the writer divided four levels:recovered, effective,valid and invalid. After six months’ treatment, the number of the AIH group at the four-level were respectively 6,5,2 and 2, The total effective rate was 87%. The number of the PBC group were 8,8,5 and 4 and the total effective rate 84%. About the Overlap syndrome group were 5,3,0 and 2 and its total effective rate was 80%. Therefore, the effect of Yiqi JieDu TongLuo Chinese medicine granules to improve the symptoms of the three groups of patients were significant.(2)Changes in liver functionAccording to the recovered degree, the writer divided three levels:effective,valid and invalid.After six months’treatment, the number of the AIH group at the three-level were respectively 6,5,4, The total effective rate was 73.33%. The number of the PBC group were 7,10,8 and the total effective rate 68.00%. About the Overlap syndrome group were 4,3,3 and its total effective rate was 70.00%. Therefore, the effect of Yiqi JieDu TongLuo Chinese medicine granules to improve the liver function of the three groups of patients were significant.(3) Liver Ultrasound changesThrough comparation within each group, liver ultrasound were all P>0.05, there was no different statistical significance. This illustrated that there was little change in ultrasound among three groups after 6 months of treatment. And the treatment effect is not obvious. What led this might be associated with the small number of samples and the limited treatment time.(4) Tongue condition’s changesThrough statistical frequency, the tongue of patients were dark red before the treatment in three groups, which number were respectively 73%,72% and 70% with yellow and white thick greasy coated tongue commonly, which percentages were 80%,84% and 80%.It indicated that all the three group patients have obvious blood stasis and damp-heat syndrome. After 6 months’treatments, the percentages of three groups’dark red tongue changed to 53%, 52%and 50% with t yellow and white thick greasy coated tongue changed to 60%,64% and 60%. However, there were still 30% of the patients’tongue and furred tongue which did not change significantly when they compared with the previous. It showed that the disease condition was complicated requiring long-term treatment.(5) Pulse condition’s changesPulse condition of patients mostly appeared xuan, chen, xi, hua, shu, and ruo to show that the disease mixed deficiency and excess. After six months’ treatment, the patients’pulse condition in the three groups had been improved much than before. It showed that the effect of Yiqi JieDu TongLuo Chinese medicine granules to improve the qixue-deficiency damp-heat syndrome of the three groups of patients were significant.(6) Major adverse eventsDuring treatment 2 patients got rash and 2 patients felt dizzy after dose adjustment the patients’synptoms relieved to disappear.Conclusion:(1) Autoimmune liver disease patients’ clinical signs and symptoms were improved obviously by the method of Yiqi Jiedu Tongluo.(2) Autoimmune liver disease patients’liver function could be relieved apparently by the method of Yiqi Jiedu Tongluo.(3) The results of liver ultrasound could not be significantly improved by the method of Yiqi Jiedu Tongluo in short term.(4) Autoimmune liver disease patients’ TCM tongue coating and pulse condition were improved by the method of Yiqi Jiedu Tongluo in short term.(5) Autoimmune liver disease patients had no significant adverse reactions, and the application security is fine with the method of Yiqi Jiedu Tongluo.
