A Study On Campus Network Construction And Teaching System

Universities and colleges have been carrying out the construction of campus network in order to digitize information management style and mode of transmission. However, there are problems in building the campus network-----great importance was paid on the construction of hardware and meanwhile the construction of software was neglected. With the development of the technology of network hardware, campus network must invest repeatedly. Therefore, how to keep the construction of campus network down to size, how to value the function of campus network in teaching and how to assess the teaching system are the main purpose of the thesis. The basis of the construction of suitable size of campus network is the demand analysis and the principle of the construction. The paper is on the basis of campus network construction of Jinlin Finance and Taxation College and to try to provide references for other colleges. The main purpose of campus network construction "input"is for teaching "output"which is the application of teaching system. The function of network teaching system may make up for the traditional teaching which can't satisfy the demand of lots of practices and communicative environments of the students due to shortage of teachers. Therefore, the aim of the design of teaching system is to satisfy different students and the teaching system is divided into three subsystems. The paper introduces the implement method of the three subsystems and the outcome after application. The thesis consists of seven chapters. Chapter One introduces the significance and necessity of campus network construction. Chapter Two defines the relational concept in building the campus network. The core of the equipment is the switching exchange, which can bind MAC address and IP address to solve some network problems; the main function of CDN is to speed the connection of colleges. Chapter Three and Four are devoted to the demand analysis in building the campus network. Chapter Five, Six and Seven introduce the exploitation of network teaching system and the assessment of teaching system.
