Industrial control ability is improved and its area is expanded, along with the development of Internet, Industry control automatization, intelligentization. Long-distance monitor and control pattern based on Internet/Intranet is given more and more attentions. However, long-distance industrial control result a lot of problems. One of these typical problems is difficult to regulate the transmission time on the Internet. Just because of them, some industry enterprise asking for high real time ability meet with lots of difficulties to realize long-distance control on the Internet. But they also cry for experts' online instructions by reason of craftwork and technique complicacy.Ammoniacal synthesis procedure has some dangerous characteristics, for example: high temperature, high press, flammability, explosive and so on. Aim at ammoniacal synthesis manufacture technique, an ammoniacal synthetical optimization online instruction system based on Internet is researched and tried to develop. It uses GIS as operation interface, should be easy to use and easy to understand.The paper is focused on how to realize ammoniacal synthetical optimization online instruction system. Several sides are deeply analyzed and researched, which includes the integration of control net and information net, the collection, communication, dynamic display and query of data and navigation of equipment and process. In the paper control net uses Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) techniques to transfer concerned data to information net. The system is divided as three layers: field inspect layer, application server layer and long-distance inspect layer. Application server layer is the bridge that links field inspect layer and long-distance inspect layer, which gets real-time data from field inspect layer, accordingly saves it, deal with it as graphics and provides web application server for long-distance inspect layer. Focused on the design of application server layer, Java language is applied to develop the system. Serial port communication technique is applied to get data information from field inspect layer. Socket technique is applied to data transmission and instruction information communication. In order to let experts easily to chose concerned reference point and query equipment information, the paper tries to use MAPGIS-IMS (Internet map server) technique to realize data navigation and uses JfreeChart technique to realize dynamic display of process data. Considering systemsecurity, the paper uses Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to manage system users and their permissions.The ammoniacal synthetical optimization online instruction system model is designed by the paper, which integrates GIS, Control, network integration, image and graphics and database techniques. Testified by the developed original model, it puts forward some new ideas for realization of the long-distance inspect system that demands high real time. Moreover, it provides some referencable implement for process optimization and accident diagnose of ammoniacal synthetical procedure.
