The Design And Implementation Of Test Manager In TTCN-3 Test System

TTCN-3 is a new testing description language which was published by ETSI. It is stronger than the former version, and can be applied in wider area which is not limited in the conformance test. Therefore, the architecture of TTCN-3 testing platform is different from former testing platform which is used mainly in the conformance test. However, TTCN-3 testing platform is a blank work in China. The work presented in this dissertation is a part of TTCN-3 testing platform.Accroding to the standard of ETSI, TTCN-3 testing platform implemented in virtual machine mode is a distributed testing system composed of cooperating subsystems. Test manager is one of these subsystems. It configurates and initializes before test starting; controls the process of testing in test case level; logs in testing process; collects and makes verdicts after test. For practical purpose, the author gives test manager a user interface besides above responsibilities, and adds modules management function, testing node management function.This dissertation introduces the design and implementation of test manager. The author gives an approach of architecture design and implementation, which is based on plenty analysis of ETSI standard document, combining object oriented software developing process RUP and using middleware technique CORBA. Furthermore, the author presents nodes deployments and nodes management function before teststarting. Finally, the implementation of test manager is completed after design detailsand coding.
